The Royal Canadian Legion in the Western Zone of the USA including Mexico
Royal Canadian Legion member, Brian Prewitt, will participate in this year’s Out of the Darkness walk hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He is the team captain for the Royal Canadian Legion Riders walk team with a goal amount of a modest $250.
The event takes place on Saturday morning, 14 September at Mike Ward park in Irvine, CA.

Once again this year the Royal Canadian Legion will have a booth set up at the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds Scottish Fest https://www.scottishfest.com/ to hand out our Remembrance Poppies to passers-by and to answer questions they may have about our organization.
The booth will be manned on Saturday May 25th from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and then on Sunday May 26th from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm. We have all had a lot of fun in past years and the sight and sound of the massed pipe bands is really worth the trip. We hope to see you there.
