Remembrance Day Service in Covina, California

You are invited to attend the Remembrance Day Service which will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday November 12th, 2017 at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 N. 3rd Avenue, Covina, CA 91723.

An Evensong service that will have a tribute to all branches of the armed forces will include several military organizations as well as the general public.  The service will be led by the Clergy and will have the participation of a choir, pipe organ, piper, trumpeter, High School Honor Guard, Traditional Hymns and the reading of the poem Flanders Fields.  Please come to honor those that serve and those that have fallen.  The public is invited.

A Royal Canadian Legion red poppy will be given to each person attending.

Remembrance Day Service – San Diego

A Remembrance Day Service organized by Branch 5 of the Royal Canadian Legion International Western Zone USA will be held on November 11th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in San Diego at the Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego CA 92113.  The ceremony will be held on the Cemetery grounds just to the south of the Cathedral Mausoleum. Since the Canadian ship HMCS Regina will be docked in San Diego at this time 16 Canadian servicemen and officers serving on HMCS Regina will be attending the ceremony.  Interested members of the public are invited to attend.
